Hana is open for dine in and takeout six days a week and we are always excited to introduce you to Hana Family Love, our brand of hospitality and high standard of care. Our customers become family.  

Hana Japanese Eatery is a small, family owned and run restaurant in CenPho. We are passionate about what goes on your plate and how you feel when you’re dining with us. We’re happy to let our customers speak for us & are very open to feedback. Simply google us for an authentic perspective of Hana.

What to Expect

Most staff have been here for years, they’re members of our family. Expect quick service by friendly staff who know our menu in and out. Don’t be distracted by our casual environment– Executive chef Lori Hashimoto is James Beard nominated and Chef Kaz has more than sixty years of experience in Japanese cuisine.

Monday: closed
Tuesday: 5pm-9pm
Wednesday: 5pm-9pm
Thursday: 5pm-9pm
Friday: 5pm-9pm
Saturday: 5pm-9pm
Sunday: 5pm-9pm

We are a first come, first serve restaurant, and we do not accept reservations. We are often closed on holidays to give staff time with their families, please call ahead to check.

What to Wear

We’re pretty casual- dine inside at a table or when the weather is right, on our patio. We love families and try to be accommodating.

Hana is no longer BYOB! We now offer our own curated drinks program.

Before the doors close, we’d love to see you. ❤️

After nearly 20 years at Plaza Siete, the time has come for us to say goodbye to this chapter of Hana Japanese Eatery.

This is not an easy post to write. Hana has always been so much more than a restaurant to us. Over the years, our guests have become our Hana family. You’ve welcomed us into your lives, and you’ve allowed us to share in yours.

We’ve watched families grow, celebrated birthdays, engagements, marriages, anniversaries, and countless milestones. We’ve shared laughter, stories, special occasions, and ordinary days that somehow became special. You’ve trusted us to be part of your celebrations, your traditions, and your lives. That is a gift we will never take for granted.

The community you’ve created around Hana, built on kindness, support, and loyalty, has meant more to us than words can adequately express. And truly, there is no better customer than a Hana customer. You’ve reminded us time and time again what it means to be part of a community.

While we don’t have a confirmed closing date just yet, we know our time at this location is coming to an end very soon.

So, before we close our doors, please come see us. Have one more meal, enjoy a favorite dish, bring a friend, or simply stop by to say hello. We’d love the opportunity to see you and thank you in person.

Please be aware that parking lot availability is sparse due to the bar we share the lot with, consider side street parking. We're embracing classic Hana for our remaining time here, meaning there might be a wait to sit at the counter, but it's worth the wait.
